2022 Lincoln Navigator

This model comes in five trims: Standard, Reserve, Reserve L, Lincoln Black Label, and Lincoln Black Label L. Base-level amenities include adaptive pixel-projector headlamps, a hands-free liftgate, power-deployable running boards, and 20-inch aluminum wheels with painted pockets and bright-machined finish. Optional accessories range from roof-rack cross bars to illuminated running boards to a 22-inch wheel upgrade with ebony-black overlay, plus topcoats such as Chroma Caviar, Manhattan Green, Ocean Drive Blue, and Pristine White. A Lincoln Black Label-exclusive grille with illuminated Lincoln Star is also available.

The Lincoln Navigator offers a single-engine across all trim levels: a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V-6. Together with a 10-speed automatic transmission, this unit produces up to 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque.

This SUV reaches upward of 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway in rear-wheel drive. Additional perks include electric power-assisted steering, an adaptive suspension with "road preview" function, wide-wind stabilization, a trailer tow prep package, and five drive modes: Normal, Conserve, Deep Conditions, Excite, and Slippery. Four-wheel drive is also available across the trim levels (though it's already standard on the Black Label). Lincoln Navigators with four-wheel drive get up to 16 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. Equipment such as a dual-speed transfer case, a Slow Climb drive mode, electronic traction assist, and a heavy-duty trailer tow package are up for grabs as well.

Cabin comforts for this three-row, eight-passenger model include tri-zone automatic air conditioning, a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, power-adjustable pedals, enhanced active noise control, and soft-touch seats with power lumbar and climate control. On top of all this, the central dash showcases a 13.2-inch LCD touch display complete with built-in navigation, a 14-speaker audio system, HD and satellite radio, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot. Optional outfits include all-weather floor liners, leather seating surfaces, 24- or 30-way front seats, and second-row captain's chairs that drop the seating capacity to seven. Also on offer are a 3D audio system, built-in Alexa capability, a panoramic sunroof, four interior themes for the Black Label, and almost 17 inches of extra cargo room for the L trims, bringing the total to 120.3 cubic feet.

The 2022 Lincoln Navigator sports side-curtain air bags, rain-sensing front wipers, blind-spot monitoring, crash severity sensors, parking assist indicators, and an SOS post-crash alert. Furthermore, it comes with top-of-the-line features such as a 360-degree camera, evasive steering assist, and a pre-collision assist system paired with enhanced tools such as automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, intersection assist, and dynamic brake support. Upscale add-ons range from a head-up windshield display to hill descent control to an ActiveGlide system with advanced handling specs. The latter, in particular, boasts adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane centering, road edge detection, and road sign recognition.
