The 2025 Lincoln Aviator is a luxury SUV with comfortable seating for up to seven people and the top performance and style you expect in a Lincoln. We’re going to look at some of its many exciting features.
Multiple Drive Modes
The Drive Mode dial on the center console allows you to tailor your vehicle’s response. There are five modes to choose from. Normal Mode is the default setting, providing a comfortable and responsive experience under everyday conditions. Conserve Mode maximizes fuel efficiency and extends your range by reducing the demands of power-hungry systems, softens suspension and steering response, and allows the transmission to shift earlier to reduce fuel consumption.
Excite Mode gives you sportier performance by firming the suspension, slower gear shifting to increase acceleration response, and improving throttle response. Slippery Mode is designed for wet, muddy, or icy conditions and supplies increased traction control to improve control and handling. The final mode, Deep Conditions, is useful in deep snow or mud and prevents the wheels from losing traction on these surfaces.
BlueCruise
This feature allows hands-free driving on compatible highways, known as Blue Zones. You activate it by first activating Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Centering. These driver assistance safety features let you select your driving speed and following distance from other vehicles, and keep you centered in your lane. Once these systems are active, in a Blue Zone, the instrument panel will turn blue to let you know you can take your hands off the wheel.
BlueCruise will steer your vehicle, accelerating or braking as needed to get you to your destination. A tiny camera monitors your eye and head positions, and provides audio and visual alerts if you appear distracted or tired. These alerts warn you to take control of your Lincoln. If you don’t respond, the system will automatically disengage. Your Lincoln will slow to 3 to 5 mph for safety, and a loud audio tone will repeat until you take control of the wheel.
Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0
The safety of you and your passengers is very important to Lincoln, which is why every Lincoln Aviator includes Co-Pilot360, a suite of advanced driver assistance and safety systems designed to keep you safe on the road. They use sensors, cameras, and radar to monitor the area around you for potential danger.
These systems use audible and visual warnings to alert you to accident risks so you can avoid them. Some of these systems, like Automatic Emergency Braking, will actively intervene to prevent a collision by applying hard braking.
These are just a handful of the Lincoln Aviator’s exciting features. Schedule your test drive today by contacting us at Bayway Lincoln in Houston, TX.
