The roadside assistance program is an additional feature of the Lincoln warranty for new and certified pre-owned Lincolns. It provides a range of services that can help when you need it the most. As your Lincoln dealer, we want to tell you more about this program and what you can expect to receive.
From Your Lincoln Dealer: Exploring the Roadside Assistance Program
How Long Does It Last?
Assistance is available for every new Lincoln and lasts for the duration of the original owner’s ownership of the vehicle. There are no fees and no deductibles for using the program’s services. If you sell your Lincoln, the new owner will receive the roadside benefits for the powertrain warranty duration, which is six years or 70,000 miles, whichever comes first.
If you buy a certified pre-owned Lincoln, assistance is available for six years from the date of the original new car warranty or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.
How To Access Services
You can download the free Lincoln Way app or call the toll-free number. Help is available 365/24/7. You only need to provide your location, VIN, make and model, and vehicle color. Coverage is nationwide and available if you’re traveling in Canada or Mexico. We’ve listed the range of available services below.
Towing
If your Lincoln is undrivable and needs to be towed, you’re eligible for a free tow from your location to the closest dealer within 35 miles of your location. There’s no fee for towing during the program duration. Tow operators can tow you up to 100 miles from your location but charge for any mileage over 35 miles.
Fuel Delivery
If you run out of gas, technicians will arrive and bring you up to two gallons of fuel. Fuel delivery is available for free two times per year.
Winch Out
This service will get you back on the road again if your Lincoln is disabled or otherwise stuck. A specialized vehicle will winch your Lincoln up to 100 feet onto the closest paved or country road. If your car needs a tow, advise the operator when you book this service.
Jump-Starting
A car battery can fail for various reasons, including age or damage. If this happens to you, technicians will arrive and jump-start your car.
Lock Out Service
Expert assistance is available to get you back into your car if needed. The technicians can’t provide a new key, but our service department can solve this problem.
Tire Change
If your tire goes flat, help is available to change it. The technicians can also reinflate your tire if your model includes a tire inflation kit instead of a spare tire.
