These warranties will expire, but Lincoln offers a range of extended warranty options to extend your car’s protection into the future. From Your Lincoln Dealership: What Are Your Extended Warranty Options?

PowertrainCARE

This plan focuses specifically on components in your engine, transmission, and your FWD or RWD. It protects 29 components, including the oil pump, timing chain, and water pump in the engine. Protected components in the transmission include the torque converter, transmission cover, and all seals and gaskets. Finally, FWD and RWD components include the axle shafts, universal joint, and the drive shaft.

All the items covered by this plan are listed in the warranty documentation.

BaseCARE

The BaseCARE plan includes everything covered in the plan above and extends coverage to an additional 55 components. Items protected under this warranty include the front suspension, braking system, AC and heating systems, electrical system, steering, and the front suspension.

ExtraCARE

Coverage is expanded to an additional 29 components, including many in the high-tech systems. Components added to this plan include the power motor seats, keyless entry system, and instrument cluster.

PremiumCARE

For the ultimate peace of mind, this top-tier warranty includes over 1,000 components, Coverage is also expanded to include components in the audio system, rear suspension, safety systems, and the emissions system. Components that are not included in this warranty plan are specifically listed in the warranty information booklet.

Roadside Assistance

You automatically get roadside assistance 24/7/365 for the duration of your warranty.

Fixed Deductible

You can specify the deductible you want. The standard deductible is $100.00, but you can choose a $0, $200.00, $500.00, or a disappearing deductible. All parts and labor for repairs to anything covered by the warranty are included. You only pay the deductible.

Lincoln Parts and Service

All repair work is performed by Lincoln-trained technicians, and only Lincoln parts are used in all repairs.

Time and Mileage

You can specify the duration and mileage. Mileage choices range from 36,000 miles to 175,000 miles, and warranty duration ranges from three years to ten years. If you select your extension option during the duration of your New Car Limited Warranty, the extension takes effect when your initial warranty expires. This provides you with seamless coverage.
