The Lincoln Corsair is a midsize SUV with a luxury feel inside and out. Lincoln offers it in several well-equipped trim levels and either a four-cylinder engine or a plug-in hybrid. For the 2023 model year, the Corsair received a small facelift with some updates inside and out. Take a look at what’s new with the 2023 Lincoln Corsair.

The Exterior Design

The latest Corsair has a redesigned front end with a larger grille featuring satin metallic foil and blue accents. The new daytime running lights have a wing-like shape, and there are several new wheel options. Two new exterior colors, Crystal Red and Whisper Blue, are now available, and you can also add a new Jet Appearance Package to customize the exterior design.

The Advanced Safety Technology

There’s lots of new safety technology in the 2023 Corsair. It is the first SUV in its market segment to get advanced hands-free driving technology. Lincoln ActiveGlide 1.2 is available with some new features. It now comes with a hands-free lane changing assist system that will even suggest a lane change in slow traffic. It also has predictive speed assist, in-lane repositioning that shifts the Corsair away from vehicles in the lanes next to it, and intersection assist to help you avoid collisions with pedestrians when turning in an intersection.

Cabin Features

The new Corsair has some new features in its cabin. An available Auto Air Refresh system is a holistic air monitoring and air filtration system. It keeps the air in the cabin clean by filtering out unwanted particles from smoke, smog, dust, and pollen. Lincoln will offer two new interior themes for the 2023 Corsair: Smoked Truffle with neutral tones and Eternal Red with a bright, fresh look. Inside, you’ll find a more streamlined design for the instrument cluster under the center touchscreen, making the front row feel more spacious.

The Infotainment Technology

There’s some updated infotainment technology in the Corsair this year. The center touchscreen is now 13.2 inches on the diagonal and uses the SYNC 4 infotainment system. Upgraded Lincoln Enhanced software makes it run smoother and quicker. In front of the driver, a 12.3-inch LED screen will now come standard and feature a customizable digital interface. The Corsair will also offer Alexa Built-In. This is a hands-free system that keeps you connected, and Lincoln will offer three years of connectivity.

The Power

Power for the Corsair comes from either a 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder engine that puts out 250 horsepower. The Grand Touring model comes with a 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid system that generates 266 horsepower. Both offer Lincoln’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system, and the gas engine offers Lincoln’s drive modes, with Normal, Slippery, Conserve, and Excite to choose from. The plug-in hybrid has Preserve EV and Pure EV drive modes available.

For the 2023 model year, Lincoln elevates the Corsair with a new look on the outside and some exciting updates in the cabin. There’s more tech to help keep you connected while on the road and a new air filtration system to keep the cabin clean and safe.
