Sage 400

This beautiful restaurant has some of the most creative sushi rolls in town, adding a Texan flair to traditional Japanese fare. For example, the fire dragon roll consists of fried crawfish tails and cucumber and is topped with eel sauce and wasabi. One of their standout rolls is called the sunrise sunset roll. Stuffed with bluefin tuna, salmon, and king crab, it is wrapped in a paper-thin slice of cucumber and topped with a truffle vinaigrette.

Sage 400 has much more besides sushi. Known for attentive service and unique dishes, it’s no surprise this restaurant is always packed, even in the middle of the week. Some of their specials that are sure to blow you away include American Kobe beef and Foie Gras Nigiri. This is an excellent option for business meetings or date nights when you really want to impress.

Personally, we are huge fans of the boba tea. This place serves milk tea and matcha milk tea with boba- two of our favorite classic flavors! Even better, you can get the drinks with either whole milk or soy milk. If you have never tried these sweet concoctions, there is no better place to try them than at Hu’s.

3. Songkran Thai Kitchen 

Named after the Thai New Year, there is no better place to get authentic food than in this kitchen. Set in an intimate environment, this is a great place to enjoy casual dining with someone special.

The menu has plenty of options to choose from. With endless amounts of curries, noodles, and soups, you might have a hard time deciding what you want to try! For obvious reasons, we recommend trying the Heavenly beef for an appetizer. For your main meal, you can never go wrong with pad Thai or yellow curry. And for dessert, the coconut sticky rice always wins.

The alternator belt is a vital part of your car’s engine. As the crankshaft turns, it causes the alternator belt to move. The belt moves across a series of pulleys and causes the pulleys to spin. The spinning pulleys power the alternator, AC, and other important components. As your Lincoln dealer, we’d like to tell you some signs that you need a new car belt.

Squealing Noises

The alternator belt is manufactured from tough, reinforced rubber, but it can eventually wear out. A belt is usually replaced every 40,000 to 70,000 miles. Your Lincoln’s manual will give the exact time for replacement, as the belt is changed during one of your scheduled services. One of the first signs that your belt is starting to go bad is a chirping noise, which will gradually escalate into louder squealing noises.

An alternator belt is kept under constant tension to work correctly. Your belt’s tension is maintained by a spring-loaded or hydraulic belt tensioner.  A failure in the belt tensioner can cause the belt to squeal even if the belt is in good condition. Our technicians will check the belt, and fix the problem.

Sylvan Beach, La Porte

This family-friendly stretch of soft sand is just a 30-minute drive away. Divided into two sections by the central pier, this beach boasts small waves that are perfect for a swim and a wide stretch of sand for setting up your beach gear. If you’re not a confident swimmer, there’s a line of floating markers so you can easily stay in the shallows.

Sylvan Beach has a whole range of facilities including plenty of parking, restrooms and showers, and enough picnic areas for everyone to enjoy their packed lunch.
